Privacy Policy
How Eaglecast TV handles your personal data — written in plain English, not legal jargon.
Eaglecast TV ("we", "us", "our") takes your privacy seriously. This policy tells you what personal data we collect when you visit eaglecasts.tv or use our IPTV service, why we collect it, and what rights you've got over it.
1. Who We Are
Eaglecast TV is an IPTV subscription service. If you've got privacy questions, reach us on our contact page or drop us a message on WhatsApp. We're real people and we'll get back to you.
2. Data We Collect
Information you give us
- Email address — needed to set up your account and send your login details.
- Payment information — handled entirely by our payment providers (PayPal, Stripe, or crypto processors). We never see — or store — your full card number.
- Name — optional. We only use it if you reach out to support.
- Support messages — anything you send us through our contact form, email, or WhatsApp.
Data we collect automatically
- IP address — used for fraud prevention and geo-based pricing only. We don't log it persistently.
- Browser and device type — picked up via cookies to help us keep the site running well.
- Pages visited and time on site — tracked via analytics cookies. See our Cookies Policy for the full breakdown.
3. How We Use Your Data
- To set up and manage your Eaglecast TV subscription.
- To send you your login credentials and any important service updates.
- To process your payments safely.
- To answer your support questions.
- To make the site better and spot fraudulent activity.
- To meet any legal requirements we're subject to.
We don't sell your personal data. Full stop. We also don't use it for automated profiling that affects your legal rights in any way.
4. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
If you're in the EU, here's the legal basis we rely on for each type of processing:
- Contract performance — your email is processed to deliver the service you signed up for.
- Legitimate interests — fraud prevention and site improvement.
- Consent — for analytics and marketing cookies. You can pull this consent any time.
- Legal obligation — when the law says we have to.
5. Your Rights Under GDPR (EU Residents)
If you're in the European Economic Area, you've got these rights:
- Right to access — ask us for a copy of the data we hold on you.
- Right to rectification — tell us to fix anything that's wrong.
- Right to erasure — ask us to delete your data entirely (the "right to be forgotten").
- Right to restrict processing — ask us to put limits on how we use your data.
- Right to data portability — get your data in a format you can take elsewhere.
- Right to object — push back on processing we do based on legitimate interests.
- Right to withdraw consent — for cookie-based processing, you can opt out any time.
To use any of these rights, head to our contact page. We'll respond within 30 days.
6. Your Rights Under CCPA (California Residents)
California residents can:
- Find out what personal information we collect and the reason we collect it.
- Ask us to delete their personal information.
- Opt out of the sale of personal information — though we don't sell it anyway.
- Exercise these rights without being treated any differently because of it.
Send a CCPA request through our contact page.
7. Your Rights Under LGPD (Brazil Residents)
If you're based in Brazil, the Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados gives you the right to access, correct, delete and port your data — plus the right to know exactly how it's being used. Reach us via our contact page to exercise any of these rights.
8. Data Sharing
We only share your data with:
- Payment processors (Stripe, PayPal) — to handle your transactions securely.
- Analytics providers (Google Analytics) — in anonymised form, only if you've consented to cookies.
- Law enforcement — strictly when we're legally required to.
9. Data Retention
We hold your email address for the length of your subscription, plus 90 days after it ends — unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Payment records stay on file as long as tax law requires, which is typically 7 years.
10. Cookies
Eaglecast TV uses cookies. You'll find everything you need — what they are, what they do, and how to switch them off — in our Cookies Policy.
11. Security
All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS. Only authorised staff can access subscriber data, and we review our security practices regularly to keep them solid.
12. Changes to This Policy
We'll update this page if anything changes. The "Last updated" date at the top tells you when. If we make a significant change, we'll also send an email to active subscribers.
13. Contact
Got a privacy question? Use our contact page. We aim to reply within 48 hours.
